How to Rotate Pages in a PDF

Learn how to fix the orientation of pages in your PDF documents

Step-by-Step Instructions

1 Open the PDF Editor

From the File Manager, click on the PDF file containing pages to rotate.

All pages display as thumbnails.

2 Select Pages to Rotate

Click on the page thumbnails you want to rotate to select them.

You can select multiple pages by holding Ctrl (or Cmd on Mac) while clicking.

Use the Selection dropdown in the toolbar for quick selection patterns (all pages, even pages, odd pages).

3 Rotate Selected Pages

Once pages are selected, a toolbar appears.

Click Rotate left to rotate pages 90° counter-clockwise.

Click Rotate right to rotate pages 90° clockwise.

Pages rotate immediately and you can see the updated orientation.

4 Alternative: Rotate Individual Pages

Hover over any page thumbnail.

Click the rotation icon (curved arrow) that appears on the page.

The specific rotation direction depends on which icon you click.

5 Multiple Rotations

You can rotate pages multiple times to achieve the desired orientation.

Each click rotates by 90°:

  • 1 click = 90° rotation
  • 2 clicks = 180° rotation (upside-down)
  • 3 clicks = 270° rotation
  • 4 clicks = 360° rotation (back to original)

6 Save Your Changes

Click the Download button at the top right.

Your PDF with rotated pages will be generated and downloaded.

Rotation is permanently applied to the downloaded file.

Tips:
  • Rotate pages as many times as needed before downloading
  • The thumbnail preview updates immediately to show the rotation
  • You can combine rotation with other operations (reordering, deleting) before downloading
